I started Caleb first. It was the coat. I knew I was going to put wire in it and found the coat early on in the idea, which helped kick start the project. Mr Fantastic’s coat I believe. The hand wraps, just like Beau’s were also integral in the design. The clothes are attached like the others minus the scarf and coat.

Caleb was a good first start. The coat kicked it off. Once I had that, he came together really quick. The details were more involved, but the simplicity of no armour or weapon(s) to focus on, made thier detail crucial. Even the dagger was chosen because of the detail. The others just didn’t fit. Cotton thule was used for the wraps and the clothes are cleaned, altered, then distressed vintage Mego stock. The pants are from Planet Of The Apes.

Caleb was also the figure to inspire me to used various medium for the project. The leather was a given for straps and stuff but the covered boots compliment the other fabrics used. I sculpted two heads because why not? Caleb, Yasha, and Fjord have magnetized neck joints to make the swap easy. One is cleaned up with a trimmed beard, and the other is more dirty, greasy haired, unkempt with a scruff. I actually wasn’t happy with the first sculpt (unkempt), so another was added. They both attach with magnets. The accessories are a mix of hand made and vintage items.
