Jester Lavorre

Making

Jester Lavorre

With Jester I tried dying the figure to achieve the skin tone, a first. Not bad for a first , but definitely going to use that again. I also molded and painted a head from another project, to vary the girl’s faces. The buck for Jester and Beau are exactly the same. The clothes were a chore and are permanently attached as with the others. It’s a shame, cause this is the Mud and Blood variant! No laundry!

Jester was made from the same artist buck as Beau. I cast a different face that suited her personality better. The clothes are permanently attached as with the others. All made from leather, suede, and random fabric swatches, leftovers and clothing from other projects and figures of different scale. The horns were sculpted and fabricted metal adornments. The arms and neck were dyed and the head cast in blue, then painted.

Jester is all about accessories and bling! Some of the parts I made, like the spiritual weapon, did not survive the fire. As for Sprinkle, how the hell do I make a crimson weasel to scale?! With a pin. Yes I sculpted a sleeping Sprinkle with an ordinary sewing pin. He kind of looks like poop, but a cute poop, with a face!  The rest are what I like to call ” the many deaths of sprinkle”. Her backpack is a painted pocket from a twelve inch swat figure with straps attached. Her tail is a vintage Aliens figure tail sanded down and painted.

Because of the delays in this whole project, the absolute finished figure with all accessories is below, have a look!
